My goal is to help clients find their own answers rather than imposing a solution on them. Cognitive methods are among my most valuable tools, especially in dealing with anxiety and anger. With couples, I work to get them to listen to each other even more than they talk.
I went to graduate school later in life, obtaining a master's and doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I have been happily married for over 40 years and my husband and I have raised four children. Life experience has been a valuable addition to schooling and helps me relate to clients on a "real" level.
Cyberspace, and Cybersex in particular, cannot be entered into safely without basic information about the working of the Internet plus information about the basic forces of the human nature.
By the time addiction to Cybersex becomes apparent, significant damage has already been done to the lives of individuals, families, and society at large. Time and energy needs to be put into making the public aware that Cybersex is a dangerous 21st century phenomenon. Attitudes toward it will not change until education occurs. Prevention of addiction to Cybersex is every bit as important as treatment.
